| Resumo: | A urbanização contribui para o aumento da formação de ilhas de calor nas cidades, causada pela alterações na superfície natural, pavimentação, uso do solo, tipologias das edificações, materiais utilizados e as atividades humanas realizadas. Dessa forma, o presente estudo teve como objetivo investigar a relação entre o espaço urbano construído e a variação de temperatura e de que forma a urbanização influencia na formação do clima urbano e possível ocorrência de ilhas de calor na cidade de Boa Vista. Para tanto foram analisadas a relação entre as características físicas e a variação térmica utilizando dados da temperatura coletados em cinco pontos fixos em meio urbano e no entorno da cidade de acordo com as características da superfície considerando o tipo de uso e ocupação do solo no entorno. Foram verificados o efeitos da expansão urbana sobre a variação da temperatura e a identificação da existência de ilhas de calor na cidade através do mapeamentos e análise multitemporal utilizando imagens e dados dos anos de 1985, 2005 e 2017 de sensoriamento remoto dos satélites Landsat 5 nas bandas 3,4,5 e Landsat 8 nas bandas 4,5,6 na composição Red, Green e Blue (RGB) para confecção de mapa do uso e ocupação do solo e do satélite Landsat 5 na banda 6 e do Landsat 8 na banda 10 do infravermelho termal para a confecção do mapa térmico da temperatura aparente. Os resultados constataram a existência de locais no espaço urbano construído ou alterado com temperaturas mais elevadas do que em áreas do entorno com a vegetação e a superfície natural ainda conservada, de acordo com as características da superfície, o uso do solo e a vegetação existente. A análise multitemporal mostrou que, conforme a urbanização cresceu no sentido Oeste da cidade as áreas que apresentam temperaturas mais elevadas também aumentaram o que confirma que urbanização tem efeito significativo na variação da temperatura no espaço urbano e na formação de ilhas de calor na cidade de Boa Vista. |
| Abstract: | Urbanization contributes to the increased formation of heat islands in the cities, caused by changes in the natural surface, paving, land use, typologies of buildings, materials used and the human activities undertaken. The aim of this present study is to investigate the relationship between the urban space built and the temperature variation and how does the urbanization influences in the formation of the urban climate and possible occurrence of heats islands in Boa Vista city. For both were analysed the relationship between the physical characteristics and thermal variation using temperature data collected in five fixed points in the urban environment and in the surroundings of the city according to the characteristics of surface considering the type of use and occupation of land in surroundings. Based on the mappings and multitemporal analysis using images and data from years 1985, 2005 and 2017 of remote sensing satellite Landsat 5 in the bands 3, 4, 5 and Landsat 8 in 4, 5, 6 in Red, Green and Blue (RGB) to preparation of map of the use and occupation of the soil and of the Landsat satellite 5 in band 6 and the Landsat 8 in band 10 of the thermal infrared band to making the map of the apparent thermal temperature, we have been verified the effects of urban sprawl on the variation of the temperature and the identification of the existence of heat islands in the city. The results support the existence of locations in the urban space built or altered with higher temperatures than in the surrounding areas with the vegetation and natural surface still conserved. According to the characteristics of the surface the use of the soil and the vegetation, multitemporal analysis showed that, as urbanization grew up west of the city areas that exhibit higher temperatures also increased which confirms that urbanization has a significant effect on temperature variation in urban space and in the formation of heat islands in the Boa Vista city. |
