Título: Ciclos políticos e econômicos de desenvolvimento regional em Roraima Autor(es): Silva Neto, Tércio Araújo da Primeiro Orientador: Senhoras, Elói Martins Abstract: Characterized by different goals, different meta-languages and a clear theoretical and methodological pluralism, regional development field has been a branch of scientific studies based on a multidisciplinary approach that analyzes the existing phenomena in the elastic spatial scale identified by the concept of region. Taking for reference the regional development studies this research aims to analyze the exogenous and endogenous regional development patterns in Roraima through a characterization of the economic and political cycles according to the identification of the main structural deep forces in the regional territorial formation in the long term. This dissertation has been designed based on a methodological procedure classified as exploratory, descriptive and explanatory according to the purposes and as quali-quantitative according to the instruments used such as literature review on secondary data sources from scientific and journalistic texts as well as graphing and mapping from primary sources of statistical and documentary nature. The study sought to define theoretical subsidies to the research taking for granted the contributions of the scientific field of Regional Development in the light of a multidisciplinary analysis that qualified the fields of power concentrated on different specializations as well as the different historical periodizations embodied in specific structural cycles of regional development in the territories of Roraima. This thesis provides subsidies for the maturation of regional development studies in the Amazon based on the structural characterization of the main long-term forces that have impacted on the crystallization of four patterns of business cycles and three patterns of political cycles in the territories of Roraima. Título: Desenvolvimento cultural transfronteiriço: um estudo sobre a cultura como protagonista no desenvolvimento regional na fronteira Brasil – Venezuela Autor(es): Lourêto, Emanuel Henrique de Sousa Primeiro Orientador: Almeida, Linoberg Barbosa Abstract: Culture and Development, two allocated terms, a priori, in different universes and unsociable, where the first is allocated an abstract plan and the second in concrete. When it sees a correlation between these two landmarks, it is theoretical frameworks for the proposal raised here of a cultural development. With this parameter set, respecting the Amazon developmental purpose of this graduate program establishes a geographical cut the border between Brazil and Venezuela, to address the potential of the city of Pacaraima in the cultural sector and it’s consequential to region. This dissertation brings a lot of discussions about the cultural factor as a force promoting development in the border region. Divided into three chapters, in which it sought to support a series of questions, theoretically basing the hypotheses. In the first chapter, the theoretical foundations are presented, the issues are addressed to general and development, border and culture. So with this theoretical framework established seeks to deepen the themes, matching them with the proposed study object. The second chapter in turn is more methodological matrix, in which is shown four-dimensional data model approach. In this chapter is introduced, sketched and designed the four dimensions in which it is seem as development in the border environment in question: the sociological, anthropological, economic and political. Finally, the last chapter sought to expose the data collected under the auspices of the four dimensions, plastering with theoretical parts to strengthen the proposed objectives. Título: Diagnóstico da pesca extrativista no estado de Roraima: análise socioeconômica no Município de Boa Vista Autor(es): Silva Junior, Everaldo Ramos da Primeiro Orientador: Camargo, Serguei Aily Franco de Abstract: This research aimed to characterize the extractive fishing in the state of Roraima, specifically in the city of Boa Vista. To this end it was approached socioeconomic aspect that activity includes within the level of importance that the fishing industry presents to the Amazon population. Secondary objectives addressed the following issues: socioeconomic profile of professional fishermen of the city Boa Vista, employment and income in the fishing sector and their impact on the local economy and the impact of the fisheries sector in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the state of Roraima. The main results indicated that there are no data necessary for a full analysis of the fishing sector in the state of Roraima and lack public policies that can bring due importance to the sector, which has fundamental importance for the local economy. To achieve the proposed objectives was held field research and literature that supported this research, whose data were interpreted in this thesis. Título: Responsabilidade socioambiental: um estudo a luz do conceito de desenvolvimento sustentável Autor(es): Luiz, Fernanda Gouvêa Primeiro Orientador: Santos, Haroldo Eurico Amoras dos Abstract: Esta disertación examina el concepto de responsabilidad social, a la luz del paradigma de sustentabilidad, examinando las acciones de SESI-RR, en el ámbito estadual (Roraima), en el período 2013-2014. La responsabilidad socio ambiental se configura como concepción acerca de los compromisos que determinada sociedad o corporación asume en las relaciones socio ambientales en cuanto a su comprometimiento con el desarrollo sustentable, que puede ser traducido como la lucha por la construcción de una sociedad más justa o socialmente menos desigual, económicamente más eficiente y ecológicamente equilibrada. A partir de esa perspectiva se hizo el análisis del concepto de desarrollo sustentable, de la evolución histórica del concepto de responsabilidad socio ambiental y del equilibrio de las relaciones socio ambientales y de las posibilidades de su mensuración. La metodología para la realización del estudio fue hecha basada en la investigación bibliográfica sobre el tema, a través de la cual fueron verificadas, además de las teorías, la existencia o no de prácticas en Roraima, siendo utilizado el método comparativo, con la finalidad de verificarse referida correlación. Para el análisis de las prácticas de responsabilidad social desarrolladas por SESI-RR, se realizó un estudio de caso, donde fue elegida la utilización del modelo de Hopkins. Sin embargo, se percibió las dificultades metodológicas para establecerse índices efectivos que posibiliten la mensuración y evaluación consistente de las acciones de responsabilidad socio ambiental, principalmente en el área empresarial, una vez que la legislación (instituciones formales) no contempla el establecimiento de exigencias específicas que definan indicadores de evaluación de amplia aplicación, generándose así inmensa dificultad de realizarse su mensuración y comparación efectiva. También se verificó la fragilidad de una cultura (instituciones informales) donde la consciencia sobre la cuestión de la responsabilidad individual y social requiere principalmente inversiones en la educación socio ambiental.
