Abstract: The development of the present research made possible an analysis of the social importance of evangelical churches in the work with Venezuelan immigrants in Roraima, a reflection on the social role of these churches as institutions that offer reception, in addition, it also allowed to observe that immigration brought changes to the churches and for Roraima society, as they had to use different resources to perform reception. The gospel awakens the human being for social promotion and the converted subject manifests this state of mind to be useful to his neighbor. Brazil has received many immigrants and refugees, and the important role of churches in welcoming and supporting these vulnerable people stands out. In analyzing the process of welcoming Venezuelan immigrants, it is necessary to identify the theological directions of the evangelical churches. To analyze the work carried out in Roraima, we will use theological models of immigration. The research aims to analyze the theological directions of the churches in the actions of reception, from the scenario developed for the humanitarian intervention in the state of Roraima. The present work is a research with a basic strategic purpose, with descriptive and exploratory objectives, carried out by the deductive method, with a qualitative approach and carried out through a bibliographic and documentary survey.

Abstract: Considering the expansion of venezuelan migrations to Roraima and the increasing participation of women in recent migratory processes, this work intends to identify the configuration of migratory networks and the process of (re) negotiation gender relations of venezuelan women in a migratory context in Boa Vista. – Roraima. In this way, the discussions will be developed around three central categories, namely: gender, social networks and migrations. This analytical context is justified from the understanding that women participate actively and independently in the construction of migratory projects and even in the articulation and structuring of migratory networks. Thus, the use of gender studies marks a political and reflexive position that focuses on social inequalities based on gender and the way in which these processes are manifested in female migrations. In addition, attention is paid to the issue that men and women experience international migration in different ways and, therefore, the reflections seek to understand what are the challenges posed to venezuelan migrant women before the migration decision itself, during the displacement and after arrival at the receiving society. In this sense, studies on social networks will support the analysis of the strategies developed in the process of confrontation of difficulties, protection and cooperation between women. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with four venezuelan women who lived in Boa Vista, through which it was able to learn about their life stories, difficulties and dilemmas, seeking to know migrations from the reports of migrant women themselves, valuing the way they understood the experiences daily. The results obtained during the field research indicate the direct role of women in the creation, articulation and strengthening of social networks, including migratory networks; point out that, in some cases, there was a (re)negotiation of gender relations through the core role of women in the management of resources and information, in addition to family support. Among other aspects, the results show the need to think about and develop public policies aimed at confronting social inequalities, promoting respect for migrant populations, especially women, guaranteeing opportunities for access to the formal labor market, and that, for and finally, promote safe reception and real possibilities in the life transformations sought by venezuelan migrant women and their families.

Abstract: This Master's Thesis defended in the Postgraduate Program in Society and Borders (PPGSOF) of the Federal University of Roraima developed studies with an emphasis on the triad transparency, accountability and social control of public purchases made by the Federal Government through bids and contracts, according to the Access to Information Law, based on the actions of the emergency assistance and humanitarian aid task force and its interconnections with migration and the migratory industry in Roraima. The research contributed to the deepening of the theme in migratory studies, to the production of knowledge about the 'migration industry' in Roraima and to the production of knowledge in the PPGSOF. It aimed to understand the execution of the public budget, through the Social Audit, due to the development of the Venezuelan migration industry in the context of the State of Roraima; apprehend migratory theories in economic perspectives in light of the context of Venezuelan migrations and the participation of migrants and civil society institutions in social control; elucidate the process of the migratory industry and its interconnections with the governance and governance of international and Venezuelan migrations; to develop analyzes of budget execution resulting from governmental actions in the implementation of Operação Acolhida, especially regarding the execution of administrative contracts, under the aspect of law 12.527/11, known as the Law of Access to Information-LAI and rules for handling public resources. Based on the qualitative-quantitative methodology, it concluded that it is unthinkable to deal with migration management, or migration itself, without, however, addressing the industry that involves it, its complexity, and the set of actors that facilitates, sustains and expands the commodification of the process. of international mobility, since migration is big business.

Abstract: Climate change has been worrying the world for a long time and even with the matter being urgently treated by the scientific community, many people still insist on ignoring the notable signs and impacts of the resulting climate crisis: melting glaciers, forest fires, rising of the average global temperature, etc. With that in mind, the present research aims to carry out an analysis of how the climate crisis is approached in highly-circulated and successful films, questioning the films “The day after tomorrow” (2004); “Avatar” (2009) and “Snowpiercer” (2013) their approaches to climate change and environmental guidelines, aiming to identify and analyze the representations contained therein, seeking to establish a relationship between the climate crisis and pop culture, pointing out its role as a vehicle for discussing the issue. To do so, we set our theoretical bases on Ecosocialism, a discussion developed by Löwy (2014), in addition to using concepts such as pop culture, presented by Zeisler (2008), drawing a parallel with authors of Social Communication who propose consonant ideas, such as Canclini (1997) and Kellner (2001); We also bring to the discussion terms such as climate change, which covers the exploitation of natural resources, highlighting deforestation in the global scenario and in the Amazon, thus proposing a dialogue between authors such as Hansen (2013), Marques (2018), Silva and Ravena ( 2015). We emphasize that the choice of the three cinematographic works mentioned fell on the potential for analysis, although their plots may not be centered on the climate issue, being also taken in consideration the fact that they are highly successful films and broadcast on several platforms and are works that make use of different narrative forms and aesthetic resources.
